The Vivint Houston Open takes place this week at historic Memorial Park in Houston, and the field in attendance ahead of next week’s Masters is a good one.

Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Tyrrell Hatton, Adam Scott, Tony Finau and Hideki Matsuyama will all play Tom Doak’s redesigned Memorial Park (Koepka actually helped consult on the redesign), and we should get a terrific lead-in to the final major of 2020 next week.

After one round, it’s Brandt Snedeker who stands tall above the field at 5 under. He has a cavalry behind him at 3 under with six players finishing the opening 18 holes at that number, including Jason Day and Scottie Scheffler. Johnson, playing in his first event in a few weeks after a positive COVID-19 test, is 2 over. That can all change on Friday with another 18 holes on tap from Memorial Park.

Here’s how you can keep up with the action all week at the Houston Open.
